It is rare that I will append a personal celebratory message of this nature through my email or social media portal, let alone, a post on my blog!
As Singapore celebrates its 50th years in Nation Building, it brought back plenty of memories of my childhood days. The struggles, hardship and success that came along with the experiences I had.
The memories of my parent, school life, working life and many others started to flow-in during these period and the reason why this particular video was uploaded on Youtube is because it had now become another part of my experience and memory too. I am sure that it will be memorable to watch again 10 to 25 years from now.
The looks of the audiences, participants and country leaders faces tells you that we had make it successfully so far because of Mr Lee Kuan Yew and his visionaries and we can only hope it will get even better through our present Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and his newer generation of leaders.
Hopefully the Opposition Leaders will also provide strong and value-added opposing stance in order to keep-in-check what our Government will be doing and that they can co-exist together for the betterment of our children future.
Here are the firework and the mood or expression of those celebrating this SG50 milestone at The Padang, City Hall on 9 August 2015 can be seen clearly. Hopefully it will still be as wonderful, if not better, for the next 50 years to come!
